Introduction 2

Introduction to Project Management.

I will start with my name even you already know it by now. My name is Fouad Hassan, born and raised in Cairo, Egypt however, I am American citizen as well (proud to be an American). Met my current wife and the only wife I have so far in Cairo, while she was on medical rotation in Cairo. Moved to Tacoma, Washington in 2007. First job a sandwich artist at Subway for a year and half. Learned English throw interact with Subway’s customer plus attended community college and earned a certificate in accounting. Always want to work for bank since I have a bachelor degree in business from Egypt. Applied for JP Morgan Chase bank and get accepted worked there as a Teller for Three years during that time my goal was to earn a bachelor degree from U.S. however, get rejected due to can not earn the same bachelor degree if you already have one. After a long discussion with the University Of Washington admission office representative they agree to put me on a CPA program to be eligible to set for the CPA exam. Studied at University Of Washington for about a year and never set for the exam after finished from the program. There was no room to grow at Chase bank so, I applied for a personal banker position at Wells Fargo bank and I was lucky again to have the job. Worked there for about Two years and at that time my wife was in war in Afghanistan as an active duty officer (surgeon), and when she get back from war, she had order for us to move to Oklahoma (Fort Sill). Quit my job at the Wells Fargo bank and moved to Oklahoma. In Oklahoma worked for a staffing company who send a contractor to multiple different companies to help them with any projects. They placed me at Chesapeake to help them with some old project. Chesapeake supervisor singed me some work to do and the deadline was in Six month, I have finished the work in Four month instead. They liked my work and asked them for full time job and in June 2014 I was hired as full time Accountant/Financial anaylist. I want from that MBA program to keep improving my self and wish I can prove to my self and family here in U.S. and back in Egypt, I can earn an MBA degree. I specifically elected project management to help my self at work to grow, since at Chesapeake we have a lot of non-stop projects. Hope I can learn a lot and can implement whatever I learned to my daily worked or personal life at home. I enjoy the way you teach us at the class. Thank you so much.
